The majestic teak tree holds special meaning for me. Native to Asia and also found in parts of Africa, it connects me to my ancestral roots and symbolizes strength, resilience, and durability. These same qualities remind me of my grandmother, Annie Love, whose powerful presence, wisdom, and strong foundation continue to inspire me.

Like the teak tree, I have weathered life’s storms—bending, but never breaking. Each experience has strengthened me, shaped my character, and deepened my appreciation for the beauty found in perseverance.
